Simple and Savory White Rice
White rice cooked simply in a Dutch oven with a touch of butter and seasonings for the perfect side dish or light meal.

Ingredients
- 200 g white rice
- 400 ml water
- 1 tbsp butter
- à volonté pinch salt
- à volonté pinch pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
Step 2
Pour the rice and water into the Dutch oven with the butter and a pinch of salt.
Step 3
Bring to a boil, then cover and simmer on low heat.
Step 4
Turn off the heat, let rest for 3 minutes, then fluff with a fork.
Step 5
Season with salt and pepper and serve.
