Simple Pan-Fried White Rice with Spices
Plain white rice cooked then pan-fried with oil, salt and pepper. A basic yet satisfying side dish to accompany any meal.

Ingredients
- 150 g White rice
- 300 ml Water
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Pour the rice into a saucepan with water and a pinch of salt.
Step 2
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer covered for 15 minutes.
Step 3
Once the rice is cooked, heat the oil in a skillet and add the rice.
Step 4
Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes, stirring regularly. Season with salt and pepper.
