Asian Quinoa-Ham Risotto with Cashews and Ginger
A creative Asian fusion: risotto made with quinoa instead of rice, enriched with ham and nuts, and spiced with ginger and soy sauce. Guaranteed umami flavors.

Ingredients
- 120 g Quinoa
- 100 g Ham
- 50 g Nuts
- 400 ml Chicken broth
- 15 g Fresh ginger
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 20 g Butter
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 pinch Pepper
- 50 g Onion
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the quinoa, mince the onion, and grate the ginger
Step 2
Cut the ham into small dice and crush the nuts
Step 3
Heat the broth over low heat in a saucepan
Step 4
Sauté the onion and ginger in the oil for 2 minutes
Step 5
Add the quinoa and stir for 1 minute to toast it
Step 6
Gradually pour in the hot broth, stirring regularly
Step 7
Add the ham and nuts, cook for 3 more minutes
Step 8
Finish with butter and soy sauce, season with pepper
