Carrot and Potato Puree

Ingredients
- 500 g Potatoes
- 300 g Carrots
- 30 g Butter
- 500 ml Water
- 1 tsp Salt
- 0.5 tsp Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Peel and cut the potatoes and carrots into even cubes.
Step 2
Place the vegetables in a saucepan with salted water and bring to a boil.
Step 3
Reduce heat and cook for 18 minutes until very tender.
Step 4
Drain the vegetables and return them to the saucepan.
Step 5
Add butter, salt and pepper. Mash with a fork or blend until smooth.
