Chicken Tikka Masala with Rice
A flavorful Indian curry with chicken, creamy tomato sauce, and rice. A classic that impresses without the fuss.

Ingredients
- 400 g Chicken
- 2 tsp Curry powder
- 60 g Cheese
- 100 ml Tomato paste
- 200 ml Coconut milk
- 200 g White rice
- 100 g Onion
- 20 ml Oil
- 0.5 l Water
- 5 g Salt
- 2 g Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Bring water to a boil and cook the rice according to package instructions (approximately 18 minutes).
Step 2
Cut the chicken into cubes and the onion into small pieces.
Step 3
Sauté the chicken and onion in oil in a pan for 8 minutes.
Step 4
Add the curry powder, tomato paste, and coconut milk. Simmer for 12 minutes over medium heat.
Step 5
Stir in the cheese and mix well. Season with salt and pepper. Serve the curry over the rice.
