Chicken Tikka Masala with Rice
A delicious simplified Indian curry with tender chicken in a creamy and spiced sauce. Served with rice for a complete and indulgent meal.

Ingredients
- 600 g Chicken
- 250 g White rice
- 1 piece Onion
- 400 g Crushed tomato
- 150 ml Sour cream
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 2 tsp Curry powder
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
- 500 ml Water
Instructions
Step 1
Cook the rice according to package instructions (usually 20 minutes).
Step 2
Cut the chicken into cubes and slice the onion.
Step 3
Brown the chicken in a skillet with the oil until golden (5 minutes).
Step 4
Add the onion and spices (curry powder and paprika). Cook for 2 minutes.
Step 5
Pour in the crushed tomato and simmer for 10 minutes.
Step 6
Add the sour cream, stir and heat for 3 minutes without boiling. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 7
Serve the curry hot over the rice.
