Roasted Chicken with Apple Honey Sauce
A classic roasted chicken elevated with a sweet and tangy apple and honey sauce. Served with roasted vegetables for a delicious and savory meal.

Ingredients
- 1 piece Whole chicken
- 300 g Apples
- 300 g Carrots
- 3 tbsp Honey
- 2 tbsp White vinegar
- 30 g Butter
- 200 ml Water
- à volonté pinch Salt
- à volonté pinch Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Cut the carrots into batons and the apples into wedges.
Step 2
Season the chicken inside and out with salt and pepper. Place it on a baking sheet with the carrots.
Step 3
Roast in the oven for about 35 minutes until the chicken is golden brown.
Step 4
Remove the chicken and carrots. Make the sauce: combine the honey, vinegar, water, and butter in a saucepan.
Step 5
Add the apples to the sauce and cook for 5 minutes.
Step 6
Serve the chicken with the vegetables and pour the apple sauce over the top.
