Roast Chicken with Carrots and Potatoes

Ingredients
- 1 whole (1.2kg) Chicken
- 4 medium Carrot
- 6 medium Potato
- 3 tbsp Oil
- 1 tsp Salt
- 0.5 tsp Pepper
- 2 tbsp Butter
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Cut the carrots and potatoes into thick batons.
Step 2
Arrange the vegetables in a baking dish, drizzle with oil, season with salt and pepper.
Step 3
Place the chicken in the center of the vegetables, rub with butter, salt, and pepper.
Step 4
Bake for 35 minutes until the chicken is golden and cooked through.
Step 5
Serve hot directly from the baking dish.
