Roast Chicken with Carrots and Potatoes
A simple French classic: golden roasted chicken with caramelized root vegetables. Comforting and flavorful, perfect for a weeknight dinner.

Ingredients
- 1 whole Chicken
- 400 g Carrot
- 500 g Potato
- 3 tbsp Oil
- 1 tsp Salt
- 0.5 tsp Pepper
- 200 ml Water
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 200°C. Cut the chicken into quarters.
Step 2
Peel and cut the carrots and potatoes into large chunks.
Step 3
Place the chicken and vegetables in a baking dish, drizzle with oil, season with salt and pepper.
Step 4
Pour water into the bottom of the dish and bake for 35 minutes at 200°C.
Step 5
Serve hot directly from the baking dish.
