Chicken Parmigiana with Creamy Potato Gratin
A true indulgent Italian gratin: breaded chicken with tomato sauce, melted cheese, and golden potatoes. A comforting dish with a twist.

Ingredients
- 4 piece Chicken
- 5 piece Potatoes
- 150 g Grated cheese
- 2 slice Breadcrumbs
- 400 g Tomato sauce
- 1 piece Egg
- 4 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 tsp Salt
- 0.5 tsp Pepper
- 2 clove Garlic
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Slice the potatoes thinly and arrange them in a buttered baking dish.
Step 2
Crush the breadcrumbs, dip the chicken breasts in beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
Step 3
Brown the breaded chicken in a pan with oil for 4 minutes on each side. Set aside.
Step 4
Mince the garlic and mix with the tomato sauce. Pour over the potatoes.
Step 5
Arrange the breaded chicken on top of the potatoes. Pour the tomato sauce over it.
Step 6
Generously top with grated cheese. Bake for 20 minutes until the gratin is golden.
