Cold Marinated Chicken with Lebanese Garlic Sauce and Sumac
Grilled chicken pieces served cold, marinated in a Lebanese garlic sauce (toum) and sprinkled with sumac, served on a bed of tomatoes and cucumber with fresh mint.

Ingredients
- 300 g Chicken breasts
- 2 piece Tomatoes
- 1 piece Cucumber
- 10 g Fresh mint
- 3 clove Garlic
- 1 tsp Sumac
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
Instructions
Step 1
Grill the chicken breasts in a hot pan with a drizzle of oil, 6 minutes per side. Let cool and slice into strips.
Step 2
Crush the garlic into a paste with a pinch of salt. Mix with the remaining olive oil to make a simplified toum sauce.
Step 3
Dice the tomatoes and cucumber. Chop the mint and mix everything together.
Step 4
Arrange the salad on plates, place the cold chicken strips on top, drizzle with toum sauce, and sprinkle with sumac.
