Creamy Carrot and Apple Soup with Gratin Topping

Ingredients
- 600 g Carrot
- 200 g Apple
- 750 ml Water
- 100 g Bread
- 80 g Gruyère
- 20 g Butter
- 5 g Salt
- 2 g Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Peel and cut the carrots and apples into chunks.
Step 2
Cook the carrots and apples in boiling salted water for 15 minutes.
Step 3
Blend the soup until smooth.
Step 4
Cut the bread into cubes and brown them in a pan with butter.
Step 5
Pour the soup into bowls, top with croutons and grated Gruyère.
