Pan-Fried Ham with Lentils and Caramelized Banana
A savory Franco-Asian fusion dish combining pan-fried ham, tender lentils, and caramelized bananas for a sweet and salty experience.

Ingredients
- 150 g Ham
- 120 g Red lentils
- 2 piece Bananas
- 30 g Butter
- 300 ml Water
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Cook the lentils in boiling water with a pinch of salt for 20 minutes.
Step 2
Cut the ham into approximately 2cm cubes.
Step 3
Melt the butter in the pan and cook the ham for 3-4 minutes until golden.
Step 4
Add the cooked and drained lentils to the ham. Stir and cook for 2 more minutes.
Step 5
Cut the bananas into 1cm slices. In the same pan, caramelize the bananas for 2-3 minutes on each side with extra butter.
Step 6
Arrange the ham and lentils on plates and top with the caramelized bananas. Season with pepper.
