Mexican-Style Black Bean Sauté with Peppers
Black beans sautéed with colorful bell peppers, cumin, and a touch of chili powder. A quick, protein-packed, and flavorful tex-mex dish.

Ingredients
- 400 g Canned black beans
- 1 piece Red bell pepper
- 1 piece Yellow bell pepper
- 1 tsp Ground cumin
- 0.5 tsp Chili powder
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 tbsp Lime juice
Instructions
Step 1
Drain and rinse the black beans. Dice the bell peppers.
Step 2
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté the peppers for 5 minutes.
Step 3
Add the black beans, cumin, and chili powder. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 4
Squeeze the lime juice over the mixture, stir, and serve.
