Pan-Fried Penne, Super Simple
Penne sautéed in a pan with a little oil, water for cooking, and seasoning. A quick weeknight variation that's ready in under 20 minutes.

Ingredients
- 200 g Penne
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 400 ml Water
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Heat the oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
Step 2
Pour the penne directly into the hot pan and let them brown for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 3
Gradually pour the water into the pan, stirring well to avoid lumps.
Step 4
Cook over medium heat for 10-12 minutes until the penne are tender and the water is almost completely absorbed.
Step 5
Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve hot.
