Penne with Olives and Carrots
A simple and flavorful pasta bake with tender carrots and olives. A comforting everyday classic.

Ingredients
- 400 g Penne
- 3 pieces Carrots
- 150 g Olives
- 100 g Gruyère cheese
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 30 g Butter
- 2 l Water
Instructions
Step 1
Bring salted water to a boil in a pot. Add the penne and cook according to package instructions.
Step 2
Meanwhile, peel and slice the carrots thinly. Cook them in a pan with a little oil for 8 minutes until tender.
Step 3
Drain the pasta and mix with the cooked carrots and olives in a baking dish.
Step 4
Sprinkle with grated Gruyère, add small pieces of butter, and bake for 8 minutes at 200°C until lightly golden.
