Penne with Carrot and Gruyère Sauce
A simple and comforting pasta bake with a creamy sauce made from grated carrots and melted Gruyère.

Ingredients
- 400 g Penne
- 3 piece Carrots
- 150 g Gruyère
- 30 g Butter
- 250 ml Water
- 5 g Salt
- 2 g Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Bring salted water to a boil in a pot. Cook the penne according to the package directions.
Step 2
Meanwhile, finely grate the carrots and sauté them in butter in a pan for 5 minutes.
Step 3
Add the water to the carrots, simmer for 5 minutes, then blend until smooth. Stir in the grated Gruyère until melted.
Step 4
Drain the pasta and toss with the sauce. Season with salt and pepper. Serve immediately.
