Baked Penne with Ham and Gruyère
A comforting French classic: pasta mixed with ham and cheese, then baked until golden and crispy on top.

Ingredients
- 400 g Penne
- 200 g Ham
- 150 g Grated Gruyère
- 40 g Butter
- 30 g Flour
- 300 ml Milk
- 5 g Salt
- 2 g Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Bring salted water to a boil and cook the penne according to package directions.
Step 2
Meanwhile, make a béchamel: melt the butter, add the flour, then gradually pour in the milk while stirring.
Step 3
Stir the diced ham into the béchamel and season with salt and pepper.
Step 4
Drain the pasta and mix it with the sauce in a baking dish.
Step 5
Sprinkle generously with grated Gruyère and bake at 200°C for 12-15 minutes until golden.
