Penne Gratin with Ham and Gruyère

- 300 g Penne
- 150 g Ham
- 100 g Gruyère
- 50 g Celery stalk
- 20 g Butter
- 15 g Flour
- 250 ml Milk
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Bring salted water to a boil and cook the penne 2 minutes less than the package instructions.
Step 2
Meanwhile, make a béchamel sauce: melt the butter, add the flour, stir for 1 minute, then gradually pour in the milk while whisking.
Step 3
Dice the ham and celery finely. Add to the béchamel with the ham and celery. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 4
Drain the pasta and mix it with the sauce. Pour into an oven-safe dish and sprinkle with grated Gruyère.
Step 5
Bake for 10 minutes until the cheese is golden.
