Creamy Pasta with Spinach, Apples and Walnuts
A sweet and savory fusion between French and Italian cuisines: creamy pasta with sautéed spinach, caramelized apples, and a touch of parmesan. Surprisingly delicious.
Ingredients
- 250 g Pasta
- 200 g Spinach
- 200 g Apples
- 60 g Parmesan
- 100 ml Heavy cream
- 80 g Walnuts
- 30 g Butter
- 1 tsp Sugar
- à volonté Salt
- à volonté Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Bring salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package directions.
Step 2
Meanwhile, peel the apples, remove the seeds, and cut them into small dice.
Step 3
Melt the butter in a large skillet, add the diced apples with sugar and let caramelize for 4 minutes.
Step 4
Add the spinach to the skillet with the apples, toss and cook for 3 minutes until softened.
Step 5
Pour the heavy cream into the skillet and stir. Season with salt and pepper. Heat for 1 minute.
Step 6
Drain the pasta and add it to the skillet with the sauce. Toss well.
Step 7
Serve topped with grated parmesan and crushed walnuts.
