Simplified Carbonara Pasta

Ingredients
- 200 g Spaghetti
- 100 g Ham
- 80 g Gruyère
- 30 g Butter
- à volonté Salt
- à volonté Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Bring salted water to a boil in a large pot.
Step 2
Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions (about 10 minutes).
Step 3
Dice the ham into small pieces.
Step 4
Grate the Gruyère.
Step 5
Drain the pasta, reserving a glass of cooking water.
Step 6
In the hot pot, melt the butter, add the ham, then the pasta.
Step 7
Add the grated Gruyère, mix quickly while adding some cooking water to create a creamy sauce.
Step 8
Season with salt and pepper. Serve immediately.
