Simplified Pasta Carbonara

Ingredients
- 200 g Spaghetti
- 100 g Ham
- 50 g Gruyère shavings
- 2 piece Egg
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
- 10 g Butter
Instructions
Step 1
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti according to package directions.
Step 2
While pasta cooks, dice the ham and whisk the eggs with the grated cheese.
Step 3
Drain the pasta, reserving a glass of cooking water.
Step 4
Pour the hot pasta into a pan with butter and ham, toss off the heat.
Step 5
Add the egg and cheese mixture along with some cooking water to create a creamy sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
