Quick Carbonara Pasta
A classic Italian dish made with pantry staples. Crème fraîche, Gruyère, and ham replace the traditional eggs and guanciale for a quick weeknight version.

Ingredients
- 200 g Spaghetti
- 100 g Ham
- 150 ml Crème fraîche
- 50 g Gruyère
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
Instructions
Step 1
Boil a pot of salted water and cook the spaghetti according to package directions.
Step 2
Meanwhile, cut the ham into small dice.
Step 3
In a skillet, sauté the ham for 2 minutes over medium heat with the olive oil.
Step 4
Add the crème fraîche and grated Gruyère, mix well.
Step 5
Drain the pasta and add it to the sauce, toss well. Season with salt and pepper.
