Easy Carbonara Pasta
Homemade carbonara with a rich egg and bacon sauce: a comforting and flavorful Italian classic.

Ingredients
- 200 g Pasta
- 3 piece Eggs
- 150 g Bacon or pancetta
- 80 g Grated cheese (Pecorino or Parmesan)
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Black pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Boil salted water and cook the pasta according to package instructions.
Step 2
Meanwhile, cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy.
Step 3
In a bowl, beat the eggs with the grated cheese, salt, and pepper.
Step 4
Drain the pasta, reserving some cooking water. Add the pasta to the hot bacon.
Step 5
Remove from heat and add the egg mixture, stirring quickly. Add a splash of cooking water if needed to create a creamy sauce.
Step 6
Serve immediately with fresh pepper and extra cheese.
