Simplified Carbonara Pasta

Ingredients
- 200 g Pasta
- 100 g Ham
- 50 g Parmesan
- 30 g Gruyère
- 2 L Water
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
- 15 g Butter
Instructions
Step 1
Bring salted water to a boil in a pot and cook the pasta according to package directions.
Step 2
Cut the ham into small dice.
Step 3
Grate the parmesan and gruyère.
Step 4
Drain the pasta, reserving a glass of cooking water.
Step 5
In the still-warm pot, add the butter, ham, cheeses, and a splash of cooking water to create a creamy sauce.
Step 6
Add the pasta, toss well, and season with salt and pepper.
