Simple Pasta Carbonara
A classic Italian dish with pasta, ham, egg and Gruyère cheese. A simple and delicious recipe ready in 20 minutes.

Ingredients
- 300 g Pasta
- 150 g Ham
- 100 g Gruyère
- 3 piece Egg
- 1.5 L Water
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
Instructions
Step 1
Bring salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package directions (about 10 minutes).
Step 2
Meanwhile, cut the ham into small cubes and grate the Gruyère.
Step 3
Whisk the eggs with pepper and half of the Gruyère.
Step 4
Drain the pasta, reserving 1 glass of cooking water.
Step 5
In the pan, mix the hot pasta, ham and beaten eggs. Add cooking water if too dry. Top with remaining Gruyère.
