Carbonara-Style Pasta with Ham
A simplified French take on carbonara with ham, crème fraîche, and Gruyère—classic and indulgent, ready in 25 minutes.

Ingredients
- 400 g Pasta
- 200 g Ham
- 80 g Grated Gruyère
- 200 ml Crème fraîche
- 2 L Water
- 20 g Butter
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Bring salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package directions.
Step 2
Cut the ham into thin strips and quickly sauté in butter in a skillet.
Step 3
Add the crème fraîche to the ham and stir over low heat.
Step 4
Drain the pasta and toss with the cream mixture and Gruyère.
Step 5
Mix well, season generously with salt and pepper. Serve immediately.
