Indulgent Carbonara Pasta
A twist on the classic carbonara with simple ingredients: pasta, ham, eggs, and Gruyère. An irresistible Italian favorite.

Ingredients
- 250 g Penne
- 150 g Ham
- 80 g Gruyère
- 2 Eggs
- 80 ml Sour cream
- 20 g Butter
- à volonté Pepper
- à volonté Salt
Instructions
Step 1
Bring salted water to a boil in a pot and cook the pasta according to package directions.
Step 2
Meanwhile, dice the ham and grate the Gruyère. Beat the eggs with the sour cream.
Step 3
Brown the ham in a skillet with butter for 2-3 minutes.
Step 4
Drain the pasta, reserving a glass of cooking water. Pour the pasta into the skillet with the ham.
Step 5
Remove from heat and add the egg-cream mixture and grated Gruyère. Mix well, adding some cooking water if needed. Season generously with pepper.
