Pasta Carbonara with Vegetables
A modern twist on classic Italian carbonara, enhanced with fresh vegetables from your kitchen for extra flavor and nutrition. A complete and indulgent meal.
Ingredients
- 300 g Pasta
- 150 g Ham
- 80 g Cheese
- 50 g Gruyère
- 100 g Carrots
- 150 g Broccoli
- 2 pieces Eggs
- 20 g Butter
- 100 ml Crème fraîche
- à volonté Salt
- à volonté Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Cut the carrots into thin sticks and the broccoli into small florets. Cut the ham into small cubes.
Step 2
Cook the pasta in a pot of salted boiling water according to package directions.
Step 3
In another pan, heat the butter and cook the carrots and broccoli for 5-6 minutes. Add the ham at the end of cooking.
Step 4
In a bowl, whisk the eggs with the crème fraîche, grated cheese, and grated Gruyère. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 5
Drain the pasta, reserving a glass of cooking water.
Step 6
Quickly mix the hot pasta with the egg mixture and the vegetable-ham mixture. If too dry, add a little cooking water. Serve immediately.
