Quick Vegetarian Bolognese Pasta

Ingredients
- 400 g Pasta
- 150 g Red lentils
- 400 g Crushed canned tomatoes
- 1 piece Onion
- 2 clove Garlic
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 2 l Water
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Herbes de Provence
Instructions
Step 1
Sauté the minced onion and garlic in oil in a pot for 2 minutes.
Step 2
Add the red lentils, crushed tomatoes, sugar, and herbs. Simmer for 15 minutes.
Step 3
Meanwhile, cook the pasta in salted boiling water according to package directions.
Step 4
Season the sauce with salt and pepper.
Step 5
Drain the pasta and serve with the bolognese sauce.
