Pasta with Gruyère and Broccoli
A simple and comforting French classic: al dente pasta coated in a creamy Gruyère sauce with tender broccoli.

Ingredients
- 200 g Pasta
- 1 piece Broccoli
- 80 g Gruyère
- 30 g Butter
- à volonté pinch Salt
- à volonté pinch Pepper
- 2 L Water
Instructions
Step 1
Bring salted water to a boil in a pot.
Step 2
Cut the broccoli into small florets and add to the boiling water 5 minutes before the pasta is done cooking.
Step 3
Cook the pasta according to package directions.
Step 4
Drain the pasta and broccoli. Reserve 100ml of cooking water.
Step 5
In the hot pot, melt the butter, add the grated Gruyère and cooking water to make a sauce.
Step 6
Toss the pasta and broccoli with the sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
