Penne alla Puttanesca with Tuna Flakes
Delicious Mediterranean pasta with olives, tuna, and a simple tomato sauce. A classic and satisfying dish ready in 25 minutes.

Ingredients
- 400 g Penne
- 200 g Canned tuna
- 100 g Black olives
- 400 g Canned crushed tomatoes
- 3 clove Garlic
- 3 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 bunch Fresh parsley
- 1 tsp Salt
- 0.5 tsp Black pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Bring salted water to a boil and cook the penne according to package instructions.
Step 2
Meanwhile, sauté the finely chopped garlic in olive oil for 1 minute in a skillet.
Step 3
Add the crushed tomatoes and simmer for 8 minutes over medium heat.
Step 4
Drain the tuna and add it to the sauce along with the halved olives.
Step 5
Cook for an additional 3 minutes, then season with salt and pepper.
Step 6
Drain the pasta and toss with the sauce. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve.
