Pasta Aglio e Olio
The classic garlic and oil pasta—simple and delicious. A minimalist Italian dish ready in just 15 minutes.
Ingredients
- 200 g Spaghetti
- 4 tbsp Olive oil
- 4 clove Garlic
- à volonté pinch Salt
- à volonté pinch Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Fill a pot with water, salt generously and bring to a boil.
Step 2
In the meantime, mince the garlic cloves finely.
Step 3
Sauté the garlic in olive oil over medium heat for 2-3 minutes, making sure not to let it brown.
Step 4
Add the spaghetti to the boiling water and cook according to the package instructions (about 8-10 minutes).
Step 5
Drain the pasta, reserving a glass of cooking water.
Step 6
Pour the pasta into the pan with the garlic and oil, toss together while adding a splash of cooking water to create a sauce.
Step 7
Season generously with pepper and serve immediately.
