Pasta with Tomato and Mozzarella
A rich and creamy baked pasta dish made with homemade tomato sauce and melted mozzarella—the perfect Mediterranean comfort food for a weeknight dinner.

Ingredients
- 300 g Pasta
- 400 g Canned tomatoes
- 2 clove Garlic
- 1 piece Onion
- 200 g Mozzarella
- 40 ml Olive oil
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
- 1 tsp Herbes de Provence
Instructions
Step 1
Bring a pot of salted water to boil and cook the pasta according to package directions.
Step 2
Meanwhile, slice the onion and mince the garlic.
Step 3
Heat the olive oil and sauté the onion and garlic for 3 minutes.
Step 4
Add the canned tomatoes, Herbes de Provence, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 8 minutes.
Step 5
Drain the pasta and toss it with the tomato sauce.
Step 6
Transfer to a baking dish and sprinkle with shredded mozzarella.
Step 7
Bake at 200°C for 12-15 minutes until the cheese is golden brown.
