Penne with Tomato Sauce and Comté Cheese
A modern take on an Italian classic with a cheese topping. Simple penne coated in homemade tomato sauce and gratinéed with Comté cheese.

Ingredients
- 250 g Penne
- 400 g Tomatoes
- 100 g Comté
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Boil salted water and cook the penne for 10 minutes.
Step 2
Meanwhile, dice the tomatoes and sauté them in a pan with olive oil for 5 minutes.
Step 3
Drain the penne and toss with the tomato sauce.
Step 4
Transfer to a baking dish, grate Comté cheese over the top, and bake at 200°C for 5 minutes until golden.
