Penne with Tomato Sauce and Comté
A comforting Italian classic: al dente penne topped with homemade tomato sauce and gratinéed with Comté. Ready in 25 minutes.

Ingredients
- 250 g Penne
- 400 ml Tomato sauce
- 80 g Comté
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the penne according to package directions.
Step 2
Meanwhile, pour the tomato sauce into a skillet with olive oil, salt and pepper.
Step 3
Let the sauce simmer for 8 minutes over medium heat.
Step 4
Drain the pasta and mix it with the tomato sauce.
Step 5
Transfer to a baking dish, sprinkle with grated Comté and broil for 5 minutes at 200°C.
