Pasta with Homemade Tomato Sauce and Mozzarella
Italian pasta with fresh homemade tomato sauce and melted mozzarella—a timeless classic.

Ingredients
- 400 g Pasta
- 800 g Tomatoes
- 200 g Mozzarella
- 2 clove Garlic
- 3 tbsp Oil
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
- 2 L Water
- 10 leaf Fresh basil
Instructions
Step 1
Bring salted water to a boil for the pasta.
Step 2
Crush the garlic and sauté it in the oil for 1 minute.
Step 3
Add the crushed tomatoes and simmer for 12 minutes over low heat.
Step 4
Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to package instructions.
Step 5
Season the sauce and cut the mozzarella into pieces.
Step 6
Drain the pasta, add it to the sauce, then add the mozzarella and basil. Toss together.
