Pasta with Tomato Sauce and Vegetables
Spaghetti in a simple homemade tomato sauce with canned tomatoes, onion, and herbs. A classic French comfort dish.

Ingredients
- 200 g Spaghetti
- 400 g Canned tomatoes
- 1 piece Onion
- 1 clove Garlic
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- à volonté g Salt
- à volonté g Pepper
- 1 tsp Herbes de Provence or oregano
Instructions
Step 1
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti according to package directions.
Step 2
Meanwhile, peel and finely chop the onion and garlic.
Step 3
In a skillet, sauté the onion and garlic in olive oil for 2 minutes.
Step 4
Add the canned tomatoes, herbs, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 8 minutes.
Step 5
Drain the pasta and toss it with the tomato sauce.
