Pasta with Lentil and Tomato Sauce
Hearty pasta with a rich sauce made from pureed lentils and tomatoes. A delicious and satisfying Italian-Asian fusion dish.

Ingredients
- 200 g Lentils
- 400 g Pasta
- 400 g Canned tomatoes
- 1 piece Onion
- 2 clove Garlic
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Cook the lentils for 15 minutes in a pot of boiling salted water until tender.
Step 2
Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to package directions.
Step 3
Finely chop the onion and garlic, then sauté in hot oil in a skillet.
Step 4
Add the canned tomatoes and simmer for 5 minutes.
Step 5
Blend the cooked lentils and stir them into the tomato sauce, mixing well.
Step 6
Season with salt and pepper, then pour the sauce over the drained pasta.
