Pasta with Chocolate Tomato Sauce
A sweet and savory fusion dish inspired by Italian cuisine. Dark chocolate adds a subtle depth to the tomato sauce.

Ingredients
- 200 g Pasta
- 400 g Crushed tomatoes
- 30 g Dark chocolate
- 2 clove Garlic
- 40 g Parmesan
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 2 L Water
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
- 1 tsp Sugar
Instructions
Step 1
Bring salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package directions.
Step 2
Meanwhile, finely chop the garlic.
Step 3
Heat the oil in a pan, add the garlic and let it brown for 1 minute.
Step 4
Add the crushed tomatoes, sugar, salt and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Step 5
Grate the chocolate and stir it into the sauce, mixing well until dissolved.
Step 6
Drain the pasta and toss with the sauce. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan.
