Pasta with Spiced Chocolate Sauce and Crispy Ham
A surprising Italian twist: pasta coated in a dark chocolate sauce with subtle spice, topped with crispy ham and cheese.

Ingredients
- 250 g Pasta
- 100 g Dark chocolate (70%)
- 120 g Ham
- 50 g Grated Parmesan
- 100 ml Crème fraîche
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 0.5 tsp Espelette pepper
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package directions.
Step 2
Meanwhile, cut the ham into small cubes and fry in a skillet with a little oil until crispy.
Step 3
In a saucepan, melt the dark chocolate with the crème fraîche over low heat, stirring constantly.
Step 4
Add the Espelette pepper to the chocolate sauce, season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 5
Drain the pasta and toss it into the chocolate sauce, mixing well.
Step 6
Transfer the pasta to bowls and top with the crispy ham and grated Parmesan.
