Simplified Carbonara Pasta
A lighter yet indulgent version of Italian carbonara: pasta tossed with ham, egg, and a touch of cream for a silky texture.

Ingredients
- 200 g Pasta
- 120 g Ham
- 2 piece Eggs
- 100 ml Sour cream
- 50 g Parmesan
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.
Step 2
Cook pasta according to package directions (about 10 minutes).
Step 3
Cut ham into small dice and sauté in a pan for 3 minutes.
Step 4
In a bowl, mix beaten eggs with sour cream and grated Parmesan.
Step 5
Drain pasta and add to the pan with ham.
Step 6
Remove from heat and pour egg-cream mixture in, toss quickly to coat the pasta.
Step 7
Season with salt and pepper, serve immediately.
