Simplified Carbonara Pasta
An easy take on carbonara made with eggs, ham, and cheese for a creamy sauce without cream. The ultimate Italian dish for busy weeknights.

Ingredients
- 400 g Pasta
- 150 g Ham
- 2 piece Eggs
- 100 g Grated Gruyère
- 2 clove Garlic
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 2 l Water
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Cook the pasta in boiling salted water.
Step 2
Meanwhile, beat the eggs with the cheese and pepper in a bowl.
Step 3
Sauté the garlic and ham in the oil in a skillet.
Step 4
Drain the pasta and pour it into the skillet with the egg-cheese mixture off the heat.
Step 5
Toss quickly so the eggs cook gently with the heat of the pasta, and serve immediately.
