Simplified Carbonara Pasta
A quick and lighter take on classic Italian carbonara using pantry staples and eggs. Creamy and delicious without pretense.

Ingredients
- 250 g Pasta
- 100 g Ham
- 60 g Parmesan
- 2 egg Eggs
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- à volonté pinch Pepper
- à volonté pinch Salt
Instructions
Step 1
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package directions.
Step 2
Dice the ham and sauté it in a pan with the olive oil for 2 minutes.
Step 3
Beat the eggs with grated Parmesan in a bowl.
Step 4
Drain the pasta, reserving some cooking water.
Step 5
Add the hot pasta to the pan with the ham, then pour in the egg-cheese mixture, stirring quickly off the heat. Season and serve immediately.
