Simplified Carbonara Pasta
Italian carbonara revisited with pantry staples: pasta, ham, eggs and Parmesan for a creamy and indulgent sauce.

Ingredients
- 250 g Pasta
- 100 g Ham
- 80 g Parmesan
- 2 piece Eggs
- 20 g Butter
- à volonté g Salt
- à volonté g Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Bring salted water to a boil and cook the pasta al dente.
Step 2
Dice the ham into small pieces.
Step 3
Beat the eggs with grated Parmesan, salt and pepper.
Step 4
Melt the butter in a skillet and add the ham, let it heat through.
Step 5
Drain the pasta, reserving 150ml of cooking water.
Step 6
Pour the pasta into the skillet with the ham, remove from heat.
Step 7
Add the egg-Parmesan mixture and cooking water, stir quickly to create a creamy sauce.
