Simple Carbonara Pasta
A simplified take on authentic Italian carbonara using basic pantry ingredients and a couple of eggs. Creamy and delicious.

Ingredients
- 200 g Pasta
- 100 g Ham or bacon
- 60 g Grated Parmesan
- 2 piece Eggs
- 1.5 l Water
- 5 g Salt
- 3 g Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Bring salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package directions.
Step 2
Meanwhile, dice the ham and brown it in a skillet.
Step 3
In a bowl, whisk the eggs with Parmesan, salt, and pepper.
Step 4
Drain the pasta, reserving a glass of cooking water.
Step 5
Add the hot pasta to the ham, remove from heat, and pour the egg mixture over it.
Step 6
Stir quickly, adding a bit of cooking water if needed to create a creamy sauce.
