Creamy Carbonara with Chicken and Ham
An indulgent carbonara with chicken and ham in place of the classic bacon. Creamy and delicious in 25 minutes.
Ingredients
- 400 g Pasta
- 250 g Chicken
- 150 g Ham
- 3 piece Egg
- 100 g Cheese
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 1 tsp Salt
- 0.5 tsp Pepper
- 100 ml Crème fraîche
Instructions
Step 1
Cook the pasta in a pot of boiling salted water according to package time. Reserve a glass of cooking water.
Step 2
Meanwhile, cut the chicken into small dice and cut the ham into strips. Grate the cheese.
Step 3
Melt the butter in a pan, cook the chicken for 4 minutes until golden. Add the ham.
Step 4
In a bowl, beat the eggs with the grated cheese and crème fraîche.
Step 5
Mix the cooked pasta with the chicken and ham in the pan, remove from heat and pour in the egg mixture. Stir quickly.
Step 6
Add a splash of cooking water to create a creamy sauce. Season with salt and pepper and serve immediately.
