Carbonara Pasta with Ham and Broccoli
A generous take on carbonara featuring ham and broccoli for extra flavor and lighter texture. Rich and satisfying with a perfect balance.
Ingredients
- 400 g Pasta
- 200 g Ham
- 250 g Broccoli
- 3 piece Eggs
- 80 g Grated cheese
- 100 ml Crème fraîche
- 15 g Butter
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
- 2 L Water
Instructions
Step 1
Bring salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions.
Step 2
Meanwhile, cut the broccoli into florets and dice the ham.
Step 3
Add the broccoli to the pasta 5 minutes before it finishes cooking.
Step 4
Whisk together the eggs with crème fraîche, grated cheese, salt, and pepper.
Step 5
Drain the pasta and broccoli, reserving a glass of cooking water.
Step 6
Transfer the pasta to a pot with butter and ham. Pour the egg mixture while stirring quickly off the heat. Add a little cooking water if needed to achieve the right consistency.
