Pasta Carbonara with Lentils
A rich and comforting carbonara enhanced with lentils for extra protein. A classic Italian dish in an indulgent and nourishing version.

Ingredients
- 150 g Cooked lentils
- 350 g Spaghetti or tagliatelle pasta
- 150 g Bacon or pancetta
- 3 piece Eggs
- 80 g Grated parmesan
- 2 L Water
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Bring water to a boil in a saucepan with salt.
Step 2
Cook the pasta according to package instructions.
Step 3
Meanwhile, brown the bacon in a skillet for 5 minutes.
Step 4
Whisk the eggs with parmesan and pepper in a bowl.
Step 5
Add lentils to the bacon, then toss with the drained pasta.
Step 6
Pour the egg-parmesan mixture over the pasta and mix quickly off the heat.
