Creamy Carbonara-Style Pasta with Chicken and Broccoli
A comforting homemade twist on classic Italian carbonara, enriched with tender chicken and fresh broccoli. A creamy sauce makes this a flavorful dish ready in 30 minutes.
Ingredients
- 400 g Pasta
- 300 g Chicken
- 150 g Ham
- 200 g Broccoli
- 3 piece Eggs
- 100 g Cheese
- 150 ml Crème fraîche
- 30 ml Oil
- 2 l Water
- 10 g Salt
- 3 g Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Bring water to a boil in a pot with a pinch of salt. Cook the pasta according to package directions.
Step 2
Cut the chicken into cubes and ham into sticks. Cut the broccoli into small florets.
Step 3
Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the chicken and ham for 5 minutes until lightly browned.
Step 4
Add the broccoli and cook for another 5 minutes.
Step 5
Whisk the eggs with the crème fraîche, grated cheese, salt, and pepper.
Step 6
Drain the pasta (reserve some cooking water). Add the pasta to the pan, pour in the egg mixture off the heat, and stir vigorously. Add a little cooking water if needed.
